There is no such thing as lash ‘lice’…there are however, microscopic ‘mites’ which live all over our body, not just on lashes. They feed on our dead skin cells. Wash regularly and you won’t have this very rare problem of mites, more commonly known as ‘Blepharitis’.
Your lash artist may have other suggestions to increase the longevity of your extensions like avoiding oily products, saunas, etc.
